After almost 1 year and a half, the ferry for passengers from the Port of Saranda to the Port of Corfu has been opened at full capacity.
The news was confirmed by Minister Anila Denaj, who through a post on Facebook, informs that starting from July 5, round trips with the neighboring country will begin. According to her, this is expected to be a positive factor for the well-ongoing tourist season.
“The full opening of ferry cruises, for the circulation of passengers from the Port of Saranda to the Port of Corfu, in Greece, after about a year and a half of suspension has led to the realization of the first voyages.
From July 5, the trips will start the round trip and this is expected to be a positive factor for the progress of the tourist season.
The facilitation of the circulation came thanks to the measures taken by the Albanian Government for the management of the pandemic and the mass vaccination of the population” writes Denaj.
